The Eid prayers will take place at Masjid Ar-Rahman either Sunday, June 25 or Monday, June 26 at 7:30am and 9:30am.

Levels 1 to 3: SATURDAY, June 17th, 2017, 2:00 p.m, Masdjidur-Rahman
Levels 4 to 6: SUNDAY, June 18th, 2017, 2:00 p.m, Masdjidur-Rahman
Grading Rubric for levels 1 and 2: 40% for memorization, 40% for correct pronunciation (Makhaarijj), and 20% for beautifying the voice.
Grading Rubric for level 3 and up: 40% for memorization, 40% for correct pronunciation (Makhaarijj), 10% for lessons learned from the memorized Soorah, and 10% for beautifying the voice.
LEVELS:
The competitors must learn the principles related to the faith (iman) and ahklaq (moral values) in the surah memorized and memorize at least
Level 1 (age: 2 to 4)
Al-Faatihah + ONE surah from Al-Asr, Al-Feel, Al-Kawthar, Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaqq, or An-Naas
Level 2 (age: 5 to 7)
Al-Qadr + ONE surahs from Al-A’laqq, Al-Bayyinah, Az-Zalzalah, Al-Qaarea’h, At-Takaathor, or Al-Humazah
Level 3 (age: 8 to 10)
ONE surah from Al-Boroojj, At-Taariqq, Al-A’laa, Al-Ghaashiyah, Al-Balad, or Al-Layl
Level 4 (age: 11 to 13)
ONE surah from Al-Mulk, Al-Qiyamah, An-Nabaa, An-Naazia’at, A’basa, At-Takweer, or Al-Inshiqaaqq
Level 5 (age: 14 to 16)
ONE surah from Ar-Rahmaan, Al-Waaqiah, As-Saff, Al-Jumu’ah, Al-Munafiqun, Al-Mulk, Al-Qalam, Al-Haaqqah, or Al-Ma’arijj, Nooh, Al-Muzammil, or Al-Mudath-thir
